The Foundation

Founded by Ms. Christina Katsuse in 2006 and based on Dr. Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, the mission of the Christina Katsuse Student Ambassador Program (CKSAP) Foundation is to develop future leaders by offering unique access to the world’s most fascinating people and places, and enable students to develop leadership skills and make friends with like-minded students.


Ms. Christina Katsuse is an alumna of A.B Combs Elementary school and studied at Cary Academy and West Cary Middle school, Cary, North Carolina.  She will be studying at Phillips Exeter Academy, NH from fall 2009.

CKSAP offers life changing experiences abroad for students in North Carolina and the rest of the world.

The 10 day program includes activities such as:

* Meeting and interview international political/business leaders to learn how they become leaders

* Studies at international elite schools

* Stays with local host families for cultural experience

* Visiting and communicating with local schools/groups exercising the 8 habits


Since 2006, CKSAP have interviewed 22 world leaders including Prime Minister of Japan, Vice president of Taiwan, Dean of Country’s top universities and CEO of world top enterprises.

In addition to meeting world leaders, as a part of program,,  CKSAP offered  wonderful opportunity to study at the prestigious “Tamagawa Academy” in Tokyo.  Founded in 1929, Tamagawa Academy has been recognized as an elite school. Under the mission of “Aiming for the nurturing of a well-rounded elite”, Tamagawa had been recognized as a home of Japan’s leaders.


Ambassadors from A.B. Combs will stay with host families selected by Tamagawa Academy. Tamagawa Academy has had over 30 years experience hosting International students.
